Privacy notice
This notice covers the registration form on jacquelinecarroll.com and the Instagram posts it links to.
What we collect
What you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), whether you are an owner, investor, buyer, tenant, broker or other, the ZIP codes you choose, and your message. If you tick the email box we also keep its wording and the time you ticked it. With each registration we keep the browser's description of itself and a scrambled code made from your internet address (not the address itself), to stop abuse. The site also keeps a log of the pages visited, without addresses. The site sets one first-party cookie, a random code, to count visits and to remember whether you have been here before (for example, to show the full biography on your first day).
Why
To send you the research and data you asked for, and to contact you about it. We email you updates only if you ticked the box. Your phone number is used only to contact you; we do not send text messages. We do not sell or share your information.
Our home page links to posts on Instagram. Nothing from Instagram loads until you click one: the post then opens on a page that shows it through Instagram (Meta), which may set cookies and is subject to Instagram's privacy policy.
How long
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for what you asked for.
Your rights (California)
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Email jacqueline.carroll@compass.com or call (917) 757-3442. We will not treat you differently for asking.
